FAT could reveal identity of new Thai coach today | Bangkok Post: news

Frenchman Perrin, who has coached French clubs Marseille and Lyon as well as the Chinese national team, met Witthaya yesterday. The position is vacant after Kiatisak Senamuang stepped down last month following Thailand's heavy defeats in the 2018 World Cup qualifying round. Rajevac, 63, is believed to be the front-runner, having steered Ghana to the quarter-finals of the 2010 World Cup. He was coach of Saudi Arabia at the 2006 World Cup and has worked with several clubs in the Middle East. Viera, 63, helped Iraq win the 2007 Asian Cup and was assistant coach of Morocco at the 1986 World Cup.
